This day offers you the unique opportunity to explore the exciting features of the Gesaeuse National Park – its rivers and brooks, its forests and rocks. Begin with the Geological Exhibition at the National Park Pavilion Gstatterboden. After lunch pay a visit to the Interactive Discovery Centre at the Willow Dome and participate in a guided walk on the Lettmair Au Theme Trail. A cable car takes you to the breath-taking caves of the Dachstein Mountain. Then visit the fascinating Giant Ice Cave one of the world’s largest ice caves, covered by a thick layer of ice of up to 25 meters. This guided tour takes you right into the mining world of the Erzberg – Styria’s mining mountain for centuries, providing profound insights into the world of mining – underground and above ground. Towering over the picturesque Palten Valley Strechau Castle is one of Styria’s largest and most awe-inspiring fortresses. It is privately owned and has close historic ties to the Monastery of Admont. Visit the historic rooms as well as the castle’s Old-Timer Museum. Its oldest car was built in 1925. | ![]() |

All fees mentioned above are inclusive of VAT. All events of the supporting programme with the exception of the ones, which are also part of the regular ISBM programme, a minimum number of 10 participants is required. Should this number not be reached the event will be cancelled and the paid fees refunded.

Between 1 month and 1 week prior to the event: 70% cancellation fee
